I really enjoyed my time and my meal at linger. The ambiance was amazing and the food was very tasty. All the flavors were bursting at the seams without being overpowering, I even felt a sprinkle of salt might open the food up more. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable she made wonderful suggestions. I also liked that the drinks were spirit forward. I just went last night and i am already looking forward to returning . I would recommend for a fun night out, it's an interactive experience .

An amazing VIP experience - Linger & Lalo Rooftop takeover. We were greeted with a menu of special Lalo Tequila cocktails as well as complimentary Ranch Water with Lalo tequila. Passed snacks were plentiful and delicious. The best part was getting to hear Eduardo "Lalo" Gonzalez talk about the history behind his family brand. Amazing space overlooking downtown Denver to enjoy this labor of love. Salud!

Overall a great spot. Very interesting atmosphere with a view of the chefs preparing the food. The staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had. We were confused on the menu as it was not apparent on what was an appetizer and what was an entre. We realized it was tapas style after overhearing another waitress. I don't think our waitress should have had to say it and we didn't ask but maybe print it on the menus. Now the food itself was very delicious. It seems like you cannot go wrong ordering anything and they are very accommodating if allergies. This place also isn't cheap so be forewarned.

I came to Linger for a friend's birthday this week and was pleasantly surprised. We were seated upstairs, which had a nice ambiance - the space is a lot bigger than you'd expect. We had to wait about 10 minutes past our reservation time before being seated. DRINKS: Just okay, nothing special. I didn't like that their espresso martini included cinnamon, it just made it overly sweet to me. I had another gin/jalepeno drink that was better. FOOD: We tried almost every item on the menu since we had a big group and its tapas style. I recommend doing the share plates as there was a lot to choose from (including lots of veg options). -Bao bun trio: SO good, the buns were melt in your mouth and the chicken/pork belly both packed a lot of flavor -Hot Honey Sweet Fries: I love that they put honey on these sweet potato fries, they were sticky and delicious -Crispy Filipino Spring Rolls: these were so crispy and you would never know that they are "vegan" meat -Lemongrass Pork Potstickers: I could skip these, the rest of my party weren't huge fans either, they just didn't stand out in comparison to other items -Devils on Horseback: YUM - bacon wrapped dates?! a must -Skewers: for me, these were the least enjoyable item we had - not a ton of flavor -Taro Nachos: my favorite item by far! the beets were marinated to perfection and the sauces on top were amazing -Wagyu sliders: another skip, they were pretty dry -Dosa: I've never had this before & it was intimidating to dig into, but worth it! the flavors were great SERVICE: I will say that service was pretty slow during our visit. We waited about 15-20 minutes each time we ordered a drink and our food was slow to come out as well. One of our plates was completely missed and after waiting for almost an hour, the server did comp that plate for us (very kind and unexpected!). She was very sweet and told us that the kitchen and bar were pretty backed up that night, and she kept us updated on the status of our orders. Also, they brought out complimentary donuts for my friend's birthday that were DELICIOUS.

My group tried a number of different restaurants for Denver Restaurant Week and Linger was one we were most excited for. We came for dinner and the dim lighting provided the perfect ambiance, the service was top notch, I enjoyed seeing the open kitchen, and I personally loved the rose gold silverware. Now onto the food. It was recommended to share tapas style with each person ordering 2 plates. The restaurant week menu is what we came here for though. The char siu pork belly bao was pretty underwhelming. The bao itself was soft, but pretty dense. I appreciated the crispiness of the pork belly and the crunch of the cucumber, but it could've used some sort of sauce for a punch of flavor. I got a bite of the duck bao and it was pretty undercooked with the consistency of an uncooked scallion pancake. The lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone tender with bits of bone marrow at the end. Such good texture with the couscous and nutty crunch. The pickled onion provided good contrast in flavor, but was also complementary. It was a heavy dish, but such a good bang for your buck. Definitely a must order! The Vietnamese coffee tiramisu was the choice for dessert. It was generous portion, but the amount of coco powder made each bite pretty dry. On the up side, the dessert had a good crunch with the cocoa nibs and the tiramisu itself was moist and rich without being too sweet. The pandan sauce was a nice addition.

Hands down one of my best restaurant experiences ever. We went during restaurant week and did the $35 three course meal but the meal I daresay was priceless. First of all, ALL 3 courses blew my mind. The restaurant did fusion perfectly which, was a huge relief because I think fusion is a brilliant concept that somehow I think always falls short on execution. It was so good that the highlight of my next day was eating my leftovers to this meal. Things were already off to a great start when they gave us complimentary black sesame popcorn to start. Then, the first course was the best Bao I've had. Pork belly without too much of the fatty part, plus tender roasted broccoli, water chestnut, snow peas -- all fantastic things on their own and even better together. The Moroccan lamb shank was also next level. The meat was tender and cooked well but the star was the combo of eggplant salad and crispy cous cous. When I tell you the flavor profile was soo complex but came together immaculately. And not to even mention the texture combo too. Just went we thought it couldn't get better, the dessert came. I tried the carrot cheesecake which was genuinely the most balanced cheesecake I ever had in terms of tangy-to-sweet ratio. I also got the Maduros & Crema (plantains). The crunch of the almond was soo satisfying! The creme de queso was such a unique flavor that I loved: a bit of a cream cheese vibe but a bit sweet and the consistency of light yogurt.

This was another surprise reservation on my Pack Up + Go trip to Denver for my birthday! They indicated to me that all my reservations were made, but I still had to pay for the meals - which I was totally fine with. I loved not having to figure out where to go to eat, and every single restaurant they picked is definitely one I would've picked for myself. Enter: Linger I looked up Linger beforehand and knew I was in for a treat as it was owned by the same company that owns El Five, where I had previously dined. And HOW COOL that this place is a former mortuary?? When I got there, the host excitedly wished me a happy birthday and they whisked me through this amazing space, up the stairs, and seated at a window overlooking the nice view. My server was so nice and she wished me a happy birthday. After she brought me my cocktail order, she came back with a glass of champagne and said it was on the house because "you gotta have champagne for your birthday!" That was SO SWEET of her! The menu was so amazing, as usual it was really hard to choose so I enlisted my server for help. Ultimately, I had pork bao, devils on horseback, bison skewer, and I ordered a few extra items to go to bring back to my hotel because I was stuffed at that point but didn't want to miss out on other delicious dishes. Everything was amazing, the devils on horseback was the standout for sure but seriously everything so delicious! I had a nice time chatting with the couple seated next to me, apparently it was her birthday too! So it was nice to have a nice chat while dining solo. It came time for me to leave and I asked for the bill, to which my server said don't worry about it, it's on the house! I was like WHAT?? HOW?? WHY?? Like I said, Pack Up + Go doesn't pay for the actual meals so I don't know if they pulled a fast one on me or if the restaurant was just being super nice or what?? But the server was laughing with a big smile on her face and just said nope, no bill for you! I said but I have to tip you! And she said, it's fine :) Thankfully I had a $20 on me (I rarely carry cash) so left that for her. Seriously amazing experience, I was almost in tears at the nice gesture! Thanks for making my birthday trip extra special!!

This was my far my favorite meal in Denver. Hands down. Service was super quick. Food came out faster than we could eat it - so if you like a slower pace, maybe order a couple of things at a time. I was scarfing everything down but I was hungry. It might've been nicer to eat at little more leisurely. Ambiance was trendy but casual.

This is a SAF date place....I mean you had me at ex-mortuary. Pretty restaurant with amazing vibe. Great music. Comfortable booths. I went out for Denver Restaurant week and for $35 for a three course meal it was fantastic. Sure the potstickers were so so....you don't deep fry them okay! Lamb shank was great as was the Vietnamese tiramisu. My other two dinning partners loved theirs as well. Great Vegetarian options, I would definitely come back and suggest you do so too....even if it isn't Denver Restaurant week. Added bonus of having Little Man Ice Cream smack dab next door.

The decor and ambiance of Linger is super chic and trendy. Their menu is Asian fusion and they have a lot of unique options. They have a bunch of neat cocktails and a beautiful bar upstairs with large booth spaces. Unfortunately the ginger tea drink I got was bland and unflavorful. Their food options were the opposite. Everything was very heavily seasoned and flavorful. Mongolian BBQ Duck Bao with pickled cucumbers and scallion - Lots of sauce but plenty of meat loaded onto a semi-sweet doughy bun. Pandan Waffle with kaya jam, pomegranate, salted cream cheese whip - this was delightful. Light and fluffy, not super sweet and just the right amount of pandan flavor. Wish there was more kaya jam though! Love the coconut taste. Uttapam Dosa Pancake with lentil korma, sunny egg and tomato chutney - this dish caught me off guard. I imagined the dosa to be a paper crisp crepe texture like I'm familiar with but this was certainly not the case. It is a thick puffy pancake. It was still very good. It was loaded with toppings and mixed together, each bite was an explosion in your mouth. Worth trying if you're looking to venture out and explore. Tried short rib bibimbap too and it was decent. The meat was flavorful, the kimchi was quite spicy. The service was efficient and food was brought out at a good pace.
